OfficialCLBSource· editedDetails just announced on Akademiks' stream.
He planned to put out CLB in 2020, wanted to wait till other artists dropped, wanted to put it out January and had the injury. There was never a clear reason given for missing the April release timeframe.
Drake says "I love listening to it and I never say that about anything I do"
"That injury had me in a very dark place, I lost all motivation for a bit, I just wanted to walk again like normal so bad."
Looks like it will not be a surprise drop.

NeonNigga23I remember reading somewhere that drake is hard on himself and he is very judgemental of his work so if he enjoys this, this is a good sign but I still feel reserved because idk what this will sound like
I vaguely remember him saying something similar during the Zane Lowe interview for Views. In which each song that made the album was on repeat for about a week for him and 40 during the recording process.
Although I enjoy Views more now than before I don't think it's up there with the likes of IYRTITL or NWTS.
Regardless, I am trying to go into it with no expectations and let the music speak for itself.
