I agree with your read of it. It was probably taking up too much of what used to be his free time, especially managing the user-submitted beat battles (as dope as they were). DOTS eventually even took down the site that hosted them. But, it was cool to see him and his friends hopping from instrument to instrument, digital program to a***og tech while building a beat and I wish he'd still occasionally stream that process
