Mario’s singing on this whole album is incredible. The production is top notch. He was putting his soul into these songs too. I feel like the cover might put people off and it was an awkward time to be an R&b singer cuz the r&b game was about to change with the new wave like Weeknd, Frank and Miguel

Starlight off the DNA album is def Mario’s nod to MJ too so I wouldn’t be surprised, he had just passed only a few months before this album was released
