it’s open to interpretation whether he died or not I guess but angel is self reflecting and personally on first listen I thought he died

How Wasting Time never took off is beyond me. This one of drakes best verses in a long ass time

love Gravity but replace that with Paper Soldier for sure, it doesn’t fit the album sonics

One of the few times I've listened to a concept album and felt like the project would've been better if the artist abandoned it completely and just stuck to making a collection of songs

That last skit was…interesting

I like it tbh. A really risky move for your second album, but I feel like he wanted to literally play into the "Brent's music is soooo toxic" narrative. Wake Up Call, a bit of hammed voice acting aside, felt the most cinematic and made Angels sound insane.

Not a huge fan of Brent but really liked this album on first listen. Will probably skip the skits during replays tho
