Im not a Huge fan of skits in general since They Got no replay value For Me but he pulled it Off quite well i didn’t Mind the skits at All on First listen they All fit the Theme quite well

Smacked VoodooI think I finally understand all the hate Brent Faiyaz would get after listening to this album.
S*** is...very forgettable. I've always known this nigga can't really sing, and he'd make it work for himself, there was some charm to it. To me at its best on that Lost EP he made. On here it's just so f***ing bland, uninspired. Chances are he went into it with low effort because lord knows that's his whole motif these days, and if he clearly doesn't care then why should I?
Overall I'm over the whole lame ass "bad boy" character he performing. And I'm just over the corny toxic R&B in general. Back in the day you used to have to be able to sing to make that s*** work. This nigga can't even do that, and he sounds bored af on this album. The only tracks I ended up liking are the singles and most these s***s like a year or two old smh I'm good on this bullshit bruh.
I think he could be a better artist, especially lyrically. But he can sing for sure. He's no Abel, but you need to be able to sing to do what he does on Ghetto Gatsby and Bad Luck
