Cannot get into brent I try VERY hard but I cant do it.. I always get reccomended brent bc of the other artists I like but his voice is just so plain to me

I had this issue before but somehow his recent project clicked for me. Think of him as a Singing Gangster Rapper. Then it makes more sense and feels quite cool and nice

I hate how R&B niggas now have no subtlety with their lyrics and think being explicit makes their music more grown. There was always cursing in R&B but it’s not really about to cursing,just that R&B shouldn’t be about trying to be explicit.

even w miguel too the music just gets kinda weird and uncomfortable when they get too into the explicit details of their d*** and s***

the one negative thing musically that K Relly brought into the genre if we gonna keep it a buck.

I feel like it got really bad with The Weeknd but his music was just so good that it didn’t matter. It definitely didn’t help the genre in the long run tho.

F*** the world his best project it's not even 30 minutes long. Most his stuff pretty short in length come to think about. Then peep Sonder Son, and if you like those two then just peep the rest of the discog
