I didn't see a thread for this and I thought it should get a little bit of attention.

For whoever likes drama and I always have a soft spot for these period pieces.

I thought season 1 was super solid and I am looking forward to season 2.

I tried to watch it..not for me. This one YouTube channel I watch did a whole video criticizing it for "performative diversity" even though she still liked it.

My gf felt the exact same way watching it. She still enjoyed it, but apparently the books don't have as much of a cartooney feel with the diversity.

Why do shows keep splitting seasons into 2 parts

If the episodes get released weekly then by the time Part 1 ends, Part 2 will start. Maybe a 1-2 week break inbetween which is fine. I will probably subscribe when they're all out because I love to binge.
