I feel like its because it's reminiscent of Taxi Driver in some ways but it's forsure its own beast.

Just saw it yesterday for the 1st time and it's def in my top 5 Scorsese.

Nic Cage with a powerful performance (perfect casting choice) great performances from his 3 fellow EMT partners, great music and amazing cinematography. Fr it's f***ing gorgeous. Some amazing shots. Arquette was kinda eh but servicable
