They’re indeed on strike for pretty similar reasons!
Oh well
I remember this, lots of big artists pulled their music from Spotify (or releasing exclusively to other platforms) due to royalty payout concerns up until 2018-2019 or so
From my memory
Taylor Swift
Beyoncé
Jay Z
Prince
Black Keys
Radiohead
Adele
I’m sure there are more that I’m forgetting
I guess after 2019 or so a lot of artists held a “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” sort of mentality. As Dave Grohl said, if you want ppl to hear your music you gotta let them hear it

Maybe similar to how Netflix has like an endless amount of debt
Spotify ain’t making any profit but it’s gaining capital from investors from being a highly interactive platform + ads
I just can’t see how they can make legit profit anytime soon the way music is now unless they start producing music shows or concerts
Jay z says a lot of stupid s*** so what
This comment is stupid but what do i expect from a nigga with a NBA young boy avi

people only paying $5-$15 a month for streaming services so thats what happens
They could either raise prices or distribute money based on what that individual user listens to.
I remember Dylan selling his, who else has done this?
Bieber and a few others just a few months back
I got 3,000+ streams on my album over the course of 2 months and I got $12
(Which may even be inflated, cause I think my parents bought my album for $10 on iTunes)
