At a point TDE was full on running rap. In that sense they have "fallen off"
TDE never ran rap. Biggest star was Kendrick and he's behind Drake and probably Kanye too.
Never cared for any artist in TDE outside of Kendrick and his SJW s*** wore thin too. A song here and there "run rap" does not make.

After Young Money. It was them. Around that 2013/2014 time. People were looking at them as the most prominent rap label. Because they managed to make schoolboy q are star and Ab soul was up next.

Never happened. Put all that together and it still wasn't 1/10th of Young Money or GOOD.
A song or two here and there by 1-2 artists =/= running rap. Kendrick himself has never ruled (you could say he was challenging) and no one else from his label is even 1/10th of him.
MMG was more relevant than TDE has ever been.
You can debate quality till you're blue in the face, and that's subjective, but no one was looking to TDE that way. It's revisionism to suggest so.
