a couple months ago i heard a track that i think is on clb they played at a party in houston
tell us more
It makes being a fan really boring. I miss the days when we would get little leaks about the album like producers, features, pics of him leaving the studio, tiny s*** that gets you hyped but we're literally getting nothing. Not even a crumb.
yeah the fact people aren't roaming around like usual and creating hype just based off movement (wearing merch, playing music at clubs) - its makes the rollout and post rollout so dry.
That's why i feel like it's way more than just touring that gets affected by the pandemic. It's the pre-album rollout and the digestion of the music paired with the fatigued-pandemic feeling that makes me think he should hold on to this even longer.
Just drop WATTBA2 (fits the time, the world is partly opening up and seriously, what a time...) then in a few months when the vaccines catch up and we finally see ACTUAL normal, drop a fall album

Was it amazing?
Drake needs to release a doc with this album. I need to see wtf the delays been about

If it wasn’t for the pump fake trailer this woulda been a solid rollout with the merch and EP

This. He coulda still dropped in January and announced a tour later and still sold out so delaying it to tour really doesn’t make sense

Agreed
Here me out. I feel like drake should delay clb and drift away from the spotlight and focus on life for a little while. As a massive drake fan(he's my favorite of all time) it pains me to say this but he isn't seen as the huge, cool guy for the culture for the young kids anymore. He's more or less carried on because of his legacy and what he's done but if you were to ask the young people who they get excited about the most it would be travis scott, lil baby, polo g, lil uzi or lil durk. His last ep charted at 1,2, and 3 respectively and then fell down. That has never happened to drake and its happening now because I believe we are out of his prime. Now he's in la and I feel like he's trying to build hype there by spending so much time and he's kind of forcing it. This is my opinion but he should delay the album and take a break. I'm sure he's got lots of features that can keep him on the charts but as a fan and someone who has has spent the last 3 years fighting and defending him, he's starting to get annoying even to me. He's 34. It's time to focus on the business aspect of his life and maybe get in a real relationship?
