Because selling out is evolving
Lol
the record they dropped right after ameer was Iridescence, please, tell me how is that "selling out." also, you specifically mentioned them rapping over drum n bass production, again, how is that selling out? b/c selling out to me, is when you make yourself poppier for mainstream appeal which is the opposite of what they tried to do. swear y'all just say anything on here to hate

‘You specifically mentioned them spitting over drum and bass production, again, tell me how that is selling out’
By selling out? If they had kept Ameer on and actually made similar music to the Saturation series instead of pseudo-‘experimental’ rap to appease the general public, they would have retained their originality which got them signed in the first place.
A forum is full of opinions, it’s up to you whether or not to be upset over them

that "psuedo experimental rap" didn't appease the general public though, that's the thing. Iridescence is literally their most hated album and didn't even have a hit off it.
it's one thing to have an opinion, but to say something that literally isn't even remotely true of the definition of the phrase your using is something entirely different. If they made an album full of Sugar's I would understand, but they didn't do that on Ginger either.

Regardless of the opinion of the album, the opinion that they dropped Ameer to appease the general public as well as the label, to shut him out and essentially stay on a contract is also a viable argument for them selling out.
Haven’t listened to Ginger so I can’t comment. I haven’t listened to them in a couple years now actually.

you know ameer left right lmfao. and ameer is still signed to RCA. even if they kicked him off why the f*** would keep him if they lost trust in him with him robbing dom's homies and etc?
Damn 3 of my absolute favorite rappers on the first 3 tracks
