At least they knew when to end. Imagine if Wu Tang stopped making albums as a collective after Wu-Tang Forever and we didn’t have to hear all the trash afterwards (not solo efforts)
Ultimately, I think it’s a cute album, but it doesn’t elevate above its influences, and it’s not really the emotional sendoff that I’d hope for. Singles had me hyped.
the ending got me hyped ngl
unfortunately it turned out to be the best song by far

Wu-Tang aren’t cool with each other?
What’s your fav post Saturation album? Mine is Ginger
Roadrunner and Iridescence are neck and neck but I guess Roadrunner because they really settled into their sound post-Ameer. It’s like their 2nd Saturation 3

ever since rza sold that unreleased album I think
Kevin is leaking NATION.
Holy CRAP
ever since rza sold that unreleased album I think
Makes sense but what happened after the 90s then
ever since rza sold that unreleased album I think
They pretty much started falling apart during the making of Wu Tang Forever. There is a good book about their history that dropped last year called From the Streets of Shaolin
Brockhampton keeping in touch with Ameer is the weirdest f***ing thing. On one hand, that whole 2018 thing could have gone way worse and I think cutting them off from the group might have been the best thing in light of what happened between him and Dom.
On the other, while I wouldn't blame anyone for not forgiving Ameer, I think it was pretty damn clear that he understood what he had done and the type of action he needed to do to change. I could see why somebody like Kevin would gravitate toward that.
A part of me always believed keeping Ameer in the group would have been better for Brockhampton overall. Not so much for "better music lol" but just because it would have been more impactful to have him be this imperfect vessel to bounce off the younger, more naive vibe of the rest of the group.

At least Rae and Ghost are still cool with each other
But yeah it’s hard to keep a huge group together
I’m not listening to leaks so what does TM sound like
sounds like early brockhampton loosies
it doesn't sound like an album
