Cuz I remember back when Ameer was in the group mfs complained about his flows and subject matter being repetitive.

I think the magic came from who exciting their come up was.

They just might not be for you anymore

it ain’t even about Ameer tbh. the Saturation trilogy had a sound that i loved, and everybody had their time to shine when it came to the verses. it was like lightning in a bottle in 2017 man everybody was synchronized.

nowadays, there’s just something lacking. idk if it’s the songwriting, production, or what. i’m not out here saying that every track post-Saturation is total trash because that would be a lie. but i’m just not that gripped
