honestly. iridescence, ginger and roadrunner is a far better trilogy than saturation.

ktt used to constantly b**** about how ameer only had one flow when he was still in BH too. this site just loves to hate.

Factsss. Saturation trilogy had that lightning in a bottle kind of energy but did have some misses on Sat1

i feel like ameer was a staple for the group bc he wasnt too varied

a lotta the bh members do weird/new stuff for new songs, which is respectable for its attempt for sure, and w/ s*** like iridescence it paid of crazy well, but w/ the later albums s*** sounds like a hodgepodge

there arent many consistent performers in that group. u got kevin hooks, bearface, and thas pretty much it. you got an idea as to how dom and matt will rap before their verses come in, but they aren't individually strong enough to be anchors, espc matt. dom might but there's smthn missing

also i think their image just got a lil messed up, ironically not of ameer's twitter thread but bc they kicked ameer out. they had all this idgaf we'll do it ourselves energy and then folded the first time twitter got upset

    Romil production always fire

Not a BH hater but the most hype part of them breaking up will be Romil and Jabari working with the greater hip hop world

Feel like Romil could cook up some crazy s*** for Kendrick

Only good reason of releasing this is with the inclusion of ameer .otherwise it’s utterly pointless, last album was a great send off n the only thing that can top that is finishing it with what started it all. Would be cool if they were like f*** it what are y’all gonna do about it Ameer is on the album

god f***ing let go of ameer man
    It's been 4 years.
    He's not coming back

I prefer BH material as a whole without the inclusion of Ameer . The s*** they released after Saturation was light years better but this entire situation just looks really poor on their part . Alot of diehard brockhampton fans from what I’ve seen feel this way too . The most appropriate send off to me personally would be Everyone back together for one last ride .

    Nostalgia for Saturation era tbh

Their chemistry with ameer was unmatched, it always felt like something was missing since he left

Not a single album since sat3 has lived up to the hype

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but imo Saturation trilogy gets looked at so fondly cuz of the way they handled the roll out / come up more than the actual songs.

You had these young kids off the internet coming together and shooting their own music videos, with a clear DIY aesthetic that they were going for, everything was so particular down to the font they used and the Roberto intros and s***.

It made things interesting in a way that we hadn't seen in a while.

People get so caught up in that nostalgia that I feel like they overlook the bold, more experimental production of Iridescence, how polished Ginger was or how from a lyrical standpoint RR might be their strongest album lol

Eh, if thats how you feel I guess, I revisited their post SAT albums and I feel as if those got slept on. SAT 3 has the most skippable tracks out of that trilogy too for sure

You nailed it with this one. I understand it because Saturation was a crazy year and it was so fresh but the music they've been making post-Ameer is on another level

Sat trilogy had all these amazing ideas and I feel like each album since then has been a fully realized version of each of those aspects.

Iri tapped into that left field s*** they liked to do,

Ginger was for the folks that liked their pop radio s*** like Bleach.

Roadrunner was for those who wanted more rap s***.

And I can't think of a miss on any of those albums (besides the Where the Cash At?)

Too consistent, and I can't wait for the final project

I'm still holding the torch for Ameer hate, dude was talented but he kept using the same non-rhyming flow OVER and OVER

Somehow the sexual misconduct allegations made people overrate him, if you listen back Dom and Matt were consistently the standouts, Ameer did have some great verses on Sat I and II, but by III he was just phoning it in

To each their own, I don’t skip hardly any tracks on sat 3

I will say though roadrunner is a great album and ginger had some good tracks , iridescence is the only album of theirs I legitimately dislike
