When Brooklyn rap drill music just a few shorts years ago it was popular all over the country and Europe

Ever since those Bronx mfs took over with those trash sample drill beats the scene fell off a cliff in popularity

Outside of Ice spice wat Bronx drill rappers is played outside god dam NYC let alone in the tri state area

Kay flock and dougie b****** are only care about in NYC no where else

New Jersey drill club sound and London have officially passed up Drill

Idk about the worst to ever come out of NY but yeah bronx drill is pretty one note and derivative in a not-fun way. The flows aren't interesting and most of the artists don't really bring any emotion through the track, like not even anger despite that clearly being the sole mode that bronx drill operates in

Listening to it feels less like catharsis and more like when you see a group of high school kids just screaming for the sake of screaming (which obv makes sense when you consider the average age of someone featured on Raps&Hustle is like 17)

    BX drill is straight basura

I liked bk drill especially with Pop Smoke

but BX drill is nothing but shouting over the record on some caveman s***

They had a chance with Kay Flock but he's an idiot and now is probably going to spend his life in prison

Drill is dead anyways, demonic music that promotes destruction and has no creativity

the smoking deads every line and super repetitive bars in general tarnished the bronx scene in 2022

the initial wave in 2020/2021 of guys like dthang, sugarhill keem (from harlem but still a part of the bronx scene), kay flock, b lovee, dougie b, set da trend, sha ek, etc., was fire and was definitely going somewhere until some of them got locked and some of them stopped dropping quality songs

And none of those names have can go against

Pop smoke, Sheff G, Fivio foreign, 22gz, the blixkys, even god dam Dusty Locane

The initial Bronx wave was garbage in the first place

It ain’t dead all the way those London dudes got something going

With those early 2000s sounding beats mixed with drill

Along with Jersey and the club sound
