I remember back when I was pushing carts at Walmart the amount of niggas I hit with the “appreciate you my brother” and only the old heads showed love after I said that these young boys got s*** confused
I’m trying to do the same but it’s hard asf cause that’s all I’ve been doing for damn near 20 years. Hearing older black men address me as young king, blood, brother is what make me wanna stop saying nigga cause it sound so much better and more respectful. I know people don’t mean harm when they say nigga but hearing others use different terms will make you look at nigga differently. It’s just a matter of breaking that habit.
