thoughts havent really changed from this after a couple listens. second half of the album is flawless. production and songwriting super consistent. length is nice and his voice is beautiful as always. his best studio album and this is him at the peak of his pop sound.

figured i’d do this since the deluxe just came out and this is one of the most important albums in my life

mac miller sounds defeated as soon as the album starts. this continues throughout the record but even through all of the pessimism, you hear hope. he touches on love, loneliness, and memories. the perfect followup to swimming, the perfect final album, and a perfect record
