I started with the timeline in OP: Nebraska, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and The River. I would start with Nebraska tbh the songwriting is so f***ing good & the instrumentals are soooo chilling
Everything dies
Baby that's a fact
But maybe everything that dies
Someday comes back

first song that popped up in my mind after seeing the thread title
Seeing The Boss get some love
its not his most consistent overall but tbh i have to say Born to Run is his best because the title track, Thunder Road and Jungleland could very well be his 3 best songs, or at least all top 5ish
the wild, the innocent and the e street shuffle is underrated
extremely overrated
also born to run gotta be the most disrespectful album cover oat

how is it disrespectful because a solo artist put one of his band members on the back cover instead of the front?

her shouldnt be there at all then instead of haphazardly cropping him out

hes not cropped out...hes on there too and part of the iconic image just not the front

Born to Run was my first Bruce album and it might be my fav too, but that can change day by day.
Thunder Road is probably my fav track of his too though.

Update: The Rising is amazing. Can’t believe he created some of his best work 25+ years into his career. It’s truly incredible. Bruce is a God amongst men
Alright frfr fam. If you aren’t on that Bruce Springsteen game idk wtf wrong with y’all. This man made a classic 25+ years after his debut. Fam said “we need you Bruce” after 9/11 & gd The Boss delivered The Rising amazing good feel vibes & the violin strings are so nice
