What do you use? Cause I like the consistency of the pigment but I’ve dealt with the same issues you outline

Namiki pilot! I posted about it at the very beginning of the thread. Best artist pen of all time. Use diamine ink, my favourite colour is sanguine but use what you like most :)
need u to review the goat pen
You can get 10 of these for 1.50
Which is just impressive to me
The the best drawing pen ever, is the namiki falcon (I think it’s called the pilot falcon now), extra fine point. It’s 150 - 300 dollars depending if you get it with gold or rhodium tip and decal (I got the rhodium one) but no pen out there allows as much flexibility in line width as that pen. I feel like im missing a sense if I dont have it with me. Combine it with a waterbrush and you can do anything. If you’re an artist and decide to spend that much on a pen, let me know how you like it!
200 for a pen is crazy because I would lose it day 2
This is my current favorite pen

I used to use these in drawing classes but I will still add to the list for a proper review

I remember enjoying them but one time one broke and it made me nervous to use them

They’re cool because they’re designed to never fade and never be altered. The ink never bleeds and they’re super thin
What
Hand size and roughness are important to kno whow you are rating these pens
