24K Magic is an album where he does various types of R&B across 9 songs in 30 minutes. The concept of the album is like a party across the genre with all song being different styles of R&B/funk over the years, such as new jack swing, hip hop soul, slow jams, etc.

It's an amazing Beyoncé album, except very masculine. It's exactly her approach of crafting albums in a musicologist type way. It's his B'Day.

I would agree with this view with all songs were the same thing. Like if all songs were Versace On The Floor, then I would agree that you could just listen to Boyz II Men instead. But that's not the case here.

Silk Sonic is his most faceless project, but the music is still good and its just a pandemic side project so whatever
