It’s unsafe to leave your door open tbh. We live in a world with violent people and at any moment someone could see your opened door as an opportunity to rob your house or harm you. And for someone on Bruno mars and Anderson paak status, fame, wealth level it is extremely dumb because they are even a bigger target for robbery.

I just think the discussion is meaningless bro. As long as the authenticity and talent is there. I don’t see any legendary R&B or Soul artists complaining about Bruno Mars. Just random people on Twitter. Nobody complained about The Weeknd and Drake hopping on Spanish records. That’s dope to me.

I like that Hip Hop and R&B influences every corner of the world.

I’m not saying theres a problem w it. I’m just saying it’s dumb to pretend Latinos and Asians aren’t in the same bracket as whites in the context of this discussion.

You both met at one of your mutual friend's birthday party.
She says hi and you introduce yourself.
You make awkward jokes and with the help of alcohol spill more of your personal life to her than you wanted.
She has these lovely brown eyes.
You've both had s***with other people before but it still embarrasses you to talk about it.
You start finding excuses to hang out with each other after the party.
You start to think about her a little.
You have no idea how you can care so much about another human being.
you start to think about her all the time.
You tell her she is the one.
And for a moment then you truly believed she is.
And that anyone who tells you otherwise can go f*** themselves.
You're so lucky you tell yourself.
She visits your parents you visit hers.
The s***turns from intense quickies to slow sensual love-making.
You got everything planned out after graduation and nothing can ruin this.
She recommends you new shows to watch.
You recommend her new music and she makes a playlist on Spotify to keep them.
You move in together after graduation.
You stay up late watching Netflix together.
You have sex, make pancakes for each other in the morning and go on that weekly pilgrimage at the taco spot you used to go during college on Tuesday.
Some nights you stay up late doing work and she heads to bed first.
The dim light of your laptop lights up slightly to make outline of her face.
Suddenly you remembered all the love poems you've read in English literature class and understood the meaning of it all.
You never believed in fate but if it exist this must be it.
You're out for brunch one Saturday and she smiled at a guy.
You get jealous but you never mentioned it because you don't want to seem paranoid.
    Both your jobs get busy.
You're both tired and stressed out.
    You don't have s***anymore.
You talk about maybe getting a dog.
    You never did.
She talks about some guy at work that sends her funny memes in emails.
You laugh it off but secretly feel like chopping that guy's d*** off.
You notice some girl at the park on your evening jogs.
She's hella hot but you brush the thought away.
You spend less and less time together.
You hangout with your friend who is married and he tells you this is what happens to long term relationships.
You got the assurance this is all normal.
    You're still a little scared.
She is after all the one right? Right?
You tell her about your plan to move to a different state for a new job.
    She seems indifferent about it.
She starts talking about her friends getting married and having kids.
You sense she is hinting you but you aren't ready for that.
The s***becomes like an appointment in your google calendar.
You wonder if she even likes it anymore.
You experiment with toys and that's fun for a while.
You saw that girl at the park again.
She was getting some water at the fountain stopped to say hi.
She says she sees you all the time at the park and thought you looked cute.
You get the butterflies. You forgot how it felt.
You go home and turn on Netflix.
She tells you about that guy that sends her memes again.
You get mad and yelled at her.
    She says you're being sensitive.
You grunt and return to watch Netflix.
A year passed you're still together.
    Then you can't remember anymore.
Was it an argument of dirty dishes, was it that one time she yelled "you don't love me anymore?" or that time you accused her of cheating.
Maybe it was a combination of them all.
    You break up.
You're not gonna take her clothes off for a back massage anymore.
You're not gonna have silly arguments about whether GIF is pronounced Jeef or Give.
You're not going to to make matcha pancakes anymore on Sundays.
    She deletes your playlist.
    You drink lots of soju.
She starts hanging out with email memes guy.
You play smash bros till your fingers go numb and then you remembered you still have friends.
They ask you to hangout and scolds you for not answering their calls.
They give that generic advice about "plenty of fish in the sea".
F*** off. They don't know what it's like to be in love.
You send passive aggressive texts to each other.
You meetup to return her toothbrush and she your hoodies.
You thought you're over her but you had s***once more.
You thought maybe you should get back to her.
She sends a snarky text and you remembered why you broke up.
    You tell yourself no.
You argue and you say things you won't even say to your worst enemies.
    Time passes.
You meet a new girl at your local coffee shop.
Things are going well but you can't picture yourself sleeping with her.
You stop ordering delivery and started cooking healthy meals.
You stop watching p*** every day.
You applied for the job in that state you wanted to move to.
You got the job that you wanted.
You hangout in bars and sometimes strangers volunteer their own breakup stories.
Some of them had it way worse and you realized there's nothing to be sad about.
You aren't sure when but somewhere down the line you become yourself again.
You meet a girl at your mutual friend's birthday party.
She says hi and you introduce yourself.
You make awkward jokes and with the help of alcohol spill more of your personal life to her than you wanted.

You wonder if all the past times has led you to this and if this were meant to be.
You never cared the last time.
You won't care this time either.
You think about her a little, then a lot and then all the time at once.
You tell her she is the one.
You wonder if she is the one.
You realize it doesn't matter if you know or not.
Because past loves are still love.
Even if it didn't last forever.

She has these lovely brown eyes.

    Still heart rending tbh
