I feel you Man. The Solace disc is cool music to vibe to but as a longtime fan of his, the Vices tracks feel like he was way more locked in

If he wanted this to be one project I feel like this would’ve been a better album with maybe like the best 7-8 tracks on Solace just added onto Vices, because he was in his bag on there
Songs like Mini Kelly, 200 Bands, and Money Shower just pop and stick with you in a way most of this doesn’t to me, it feels like he had more to get off his chest on there and it felt realer. I’m not saying it’s awful, but most Solace has a very laid back vibe vs Vices where he just sounds like he was inspired

first listen of solace and enjoyed it def some cool standouts across it and then vices is maybe better quality and energy but we'll see
