He mentioned that overall, he was just getting a lot of hate in the city. I think this is either before or around the time of True To Self tho. He said that someone sent him a ransom note with some of the paper burned off, a burnt rose, and a dead animal's skull on the top of his car. Also said that a local artist he knew became upset with him and went to social media ("I know where you live. Isn't it this right here?"), and that people would just knock on his door and run.

Jul 17, 2020·1 replylxonelyIt is, but it makes sense. He was someone that was just used to being in the studio. Putting on a complete show is an entirely different ball game, so to be an emerging artist like he was, I feel like his nerves were justified, but also just more of him being in his head.

Honestly... hopefully the album drops this year. I don't know if covid is gonna f*** up his plans or not, but if he drops (with actual promo), it's gonna go crazy. With how he was talking in the stream, just hearing his mindset, I think he's making good progress.
