They should hate whites this vocally not us but

Black people are an easy target to hate because every race hates black people

Even black people hate black people

If you really think about it, institutional racism is incredibly f***ed up. Black people are literally looked down upon by the entire world because of the repercussions of slavery like that s*** was our fault.

I’m not going to start February off defining what is racism or systems of power . How different Dave Chappelle doing white jokes is to this but hope you have a great week and month

I know what systems of power are and how some people define racism that way but I think of racism the way most people think of it. Judging someone negatively based on skin color. Hope you have a great week and month as well

Racism as a word is so over used then people get into semantics like you to the point where just talk about their actions and how they are foul

Not really sure how someone calling someone too black to see at night and laughing about it is or saying someone's skin suddenly looks darker cuz they're speaking a certain way is stereotyping but okay

Can't blame people from the black community that cosign gatekeeping when you still get treated like s*** even after being responsible for a majority of today's slang, fashion and music.

So we focus on the future we have and prospering rather than the suffering . Yes slavery and so much more happened but how many times can you repeat your history to yourself ?

what does "prospering" look like for black people in your opinion? and how are we supposed to get to this prosperous state if we do not a***yze aspects of our past? i think your framing of our past as simply "suffering" is narrow at best and reductive/disrespectful at worst

History month focuses on the suffering . This is a real magazine cover for “ 10 years since Trayvon”

This not weird to you ?

of course it is. weird isn't even the word. its violent. the liberal, assimilationist, black death-reifying-empire narratives that are purported by the mainstream about our history are disgusting. i was more so getting to the point of suggesting that we study and revere the proponents of the black radical tradition instead (those who hold the keys to how we will build a prosperous future). also, have you heard of black august?

See I never heard of black august . Seeing black history month commodified in target or companies change their logo to black for Black Lives Matter while making no changes would make you cynical too but you get it . If we called out so many artist racist past or joe Rogan or whoever who have fanbases either way rather than focusing on what we can change or improve who wins ? Army doesn’t give a f*** about this you want to beg bts fans to care about racism or them to address it again or what ? That’s why I get confused at moments like this . How long can we dwell vs change the systems

exactly. dont mind the mainstream bc anything they say about us is for us to continue to suffer and remain docile. irreconcilable infighting and outrage for outrage sake gets us nowhere. what we must do is a***yze these systems of oppression and the ills in our communities that result from them and devise strategies to move against the worldwide power structure. and these plans of actions are developed by studying our history (specifically the history of our resistance) & our current material reality. there are many people who have laid groundwork in the name of revolution for us that we must gain wisdom and strategies from & we gotta pick up the baton. people like frantz fanon, malcolm x, huey newton, robert f. williams, walter rodney, george jackson, amilcar cabral, kwame nkrumah, thomas sankara, sekou toure, samora machel, assata/mutulu/lumumba/sanyika shakur, dhoruba bin wahad, angela davis, lorenzo komboa ervin, kuwasi balagoon, russell maroon shoatz, martin sostre, jalil mutaqim, claudia jones, safiya bukhari, web dubois, aime cesaire, e. franklin fraizer, harry haywood, cedric robinson, mumia abu jamal to name a few...study groups like the black panthers, sncc, the black liberation army, the republic of new afrika & the revolutionary action movement, and you'll see where we need to go from here in order to truly prosper. i got links n s*** if you need it

See you get it . So why can I ever be bothered surprise or focus on a celebrity getting cancelled for being racist ? What does it add to my life or any one else’s that works towards progress ? What does 200$ dates , cigar , Rihanna pregnancy add to my existence or is it just noise ?
