Blue Velvet is so iconic but so weird because the first time i ever watched it i thought it was overrated, then on a rewatch i loved it. Sometime later rewatched it again and it went up to like #3 on my Lynch ranking. Then i recently showed it to a friend and it didn't hit the same.(still great tho) But that's maybe due to the fact he didn't fw it as much as other Lynch work i've shown him and it kinda brought the vibes down.
