Rockstar right now has every studio they own work on the same game at the same time, and bully is just not that big enough of an IP for rockstar to focus on like that with 20 studios working on it at once.
However, maybe after gta 6 launches they restructure and make a couple small teams for smaller game releases every couple of years, and bully 2 could be one of those.
But unless that happens, it could be never
- drop gta 6, massive IP
- split studios
- one on gtaO
- one writes for next big game (medieval IP)
- multiple studios split into smaller games for now
- midnight club, bully, agent
- small games release every 3-4 years, medieval IP drops 2035, GTA 7 in 2040

Dec 27, 2023If we get bully 2, it’ll be an extension for gta6 imo. I think gta 6 might end up acting like a the backbone of their smaller games, like bully, midnight club etc.

Why would they want to make a Bully 2 that would sell what? 15 million? Probably less then that
Bully is a classic and I absolutely love that game but unfortunately, it’s about and only about, the money

tbh, GTA Online's success really should be studied bc in retrospect, no way a mid ass online game such as that (and I LOVE GTA Online/been playing day 1) should be as successful as it is

the OG Bully more or less did everything you could do with such a niche setting. It would be cool to see expanded mechanichs, though idk I don't have the energy to really LARP as a high school kid at this point in time in life.

Dec 29, 2023Game is dope as hell and I had bought it cheap like a year or 2 ago but it's just hard to playthrough nowadays with the controls and whatnot. It's cool though because there was nothing else really like it at the time. Except, well gta
But one thing that made it stand out was that it was a smaller game than gta so the school and town area felt more fleshed out and interactive. I'm down for smaller maps with more immersion and interiors any day than vice versa
