Game looks way better and is much more challenging.. only played 2 games but there’s a clear improvement over the first alpha.

If they keep improving at the rate they’re going, this is going to be fantastic on release

just had a pretty good run ended up getting down but i already had the extraction ready so i was able to escape with my stuff

don't really play shooters in general. Not interested in Arc Raiders cuz visually it's not very appealing to me. Did they add in story stuff like they teased for Marathon? It's really the only thing I care about beyond the aesthetics/music lol

I must admit that I completely ignored it but there was definitely some narrative stuff included. There are “missions” (contracts) that push the story forward

Yeah not too sure if Marathon will appeal to mainstreamers..
And I thought The Finals was as close to being a hipster shooter as a shooter can get, but this one takes it to a whole other level.
Personally I’m completely on board with the art direction as someone whose one of their favourite games ever is Art Style: Cubello back on Wii:
As it stands, I believe ARC has the highest chance of becoming a massive extraction shooter.
Still rooting for Marathon tho

Once I got a decent loadout I was good. Only issue is when you have teammates that just W key everything. The pace of play is weird and takes some getting used to, but you gotta play like it’s tarkov 50% of the time and play it like a BR the other 50%
