When it comes to Chapelle and the trans jokes, problem is, is when you touch on sensitive subject matter you kinda have to put in that little bit of extra effort, especially if it pertains to people and things outside of your personal experience.

If you’re only telling the most basic ass jokes possible pertaining to that subject it makes it seem like you didn’t actually think that much about it, and thus don’t take it all that seriously or believe it to be worth your time.
