My only gripe w/ Schulz is that he comes from a VERY privileged upbringing, rode the curtails of Charlamagne, and now aligns himself with reddit/rogan audience.
I don’t really see anything wrong with him coming from a privileged background. If you got talent, you got talent. His crowd skills are honestly otherworldly and the knowledge he has on so many different cultures, backgrounds, and their histories is insane. Also every comedian had to ride curtails of someone. If it ain’t Hollywood or major network TV, it’ll be somewhere else. Establishing a career off Charlemagne and Rogan is way harder to do than how most comedians come up. Also does Reddit even know about Schulz like that? Always thought his audience was moreso YouTube

CulpritTrans community thinking they can escape the jabs of comedy is ridiculous. Dave has punched at every race, gender, religious affiliation, etc., but crack jokes on them and now he is “anti-trans”? Give me a break. All these people laughed hysterically when he was ribbing on black people, especially when it was jokes about stereotypes and using the N word.

I mean the majority of rap is toxic idiots so the only way to avoid it entirely would be go the Cole route and have no features. Kendrick seems to have a thing for controversial young artists, he loved xxx too unless that was a label tweet… I say this to say Kodak deserves a chance to grow and change

It's not about how you can't make jokes, he keeps double, triple, quadrupling down on his transphobia. He got jumped on stage and made it into a trans joke when it was a MAGA guy who did it.
Making jokes at your own community's expense is sooo different from pushing hate and bigotry towards another community. If it was just a few jokes it woulda been fine but he can't go 30 seconds without talking about Trans people now
Imagine if there was a Jewish comedian who got popular making Jewish jokes then went away for 10~ years came back and now Everytime he's on stage he says the N word and makes a bunch of racist jokes

What are y’all smoking? Dave never made racist jokes to disparage black people… he always used to “punch up” at white society for being racist.
This is also such a dumb point because his jokes about trans people weren’t offensive, it’s the statements he made in between jokes which he uses to set the context. It’s like you don’t even know how Dave does his set…
