Am I not allowed to criticise those jokes?
lol most ppl on this site don’t believe in criticism of any sort.
acronyms like “tbh” and “lmao” were common back then. I was reading a somethingawful thread from 2003 and it’s scary how similar they are to us
I said 1994, not 2003.
Cause they might be inspiring
You can be inspired by them fasho, but looking at them as these hero figures as an adult is borderline mental illness.
So is the Kendrick s*** all because he worked with yak?
I mean, releasing a record wherein one of the central themes is trauma and having multiple features on it from a dude who plead guilty to a lesser charge in a rape case is odd.
Kendrick selling out lowkey the biggest loss of this generation
I get it he got tired of being showed out by Drake, and not get any spins in the hood compared to Cole
But that don’t mean you switch up on some lame s*** 🤦🏽♂️
What you hood you from if you think Cole gets more “spins”?
I mean look who Schulz has his pod now. I feel like he's going in that direction.
My only gripe w/ Schulz is that he comes from a VERY privileged upbringing, rode the curtails of Charlamagne, and now aligns himself with reddit/rogan audience.
I don’t really see anything wrong with him coming from a privileged background. If you got talent, you got talent. His crowd skills are honestly otherworldly and the knowledge he has on so many different cultures, backgrounds, and their histories is insane. Also every comedian had to ride curtails of someone. If it ain’t Hollywood or major network TV, it’ll be somewhere else. Establishing a career off Charlemagne and Rogan is way harder to do than how most comedians come up. Also does Reddit even know about Schulz like that? Always thought his audience was moreso YouTube
Trans community thinking they can escape the jabs of comedy is ridiculous. Dave has punched at every race, gender, religious affiliation, etc., but crack jokes on them and now he is “anti-trans”? Give me a break. All these people laughed hysterically when he was ribbing on black people, especially when it was jokes about stereotypes and using the N word.

Schulz knowledge on cultures, countries & history is so dope

I mean the majority of rap is toxic idiots so the only way to avoid it entirely would be go the Cole route and have no features. Kendrick seems to have a thing for controversial young artists, he loved xxx too unless that was a label tweet… I say this to say Kodak deserves a chance to grow and change

It's not about how you can't make jokes, he keeps double, triple, quadrupling down on his transphobia. He got jumped on stage and made it into a trans joke when it was a MAGA guy who did it.
Making jokes at your own community's expense is sooo different from pushing hate and bigotry towards another community. If it was just a few jokes it woulda been fine but he can't go 30 seconds without talking about Trans people now
Imagine if there was a Jewish comedian who got popular making Jewish jokes then went away for 10~ years came back and now Everytime he's on stage he says the N word and makes a bunch of racist jokes

What are y’all smoking? Dave never made racist jokes to disparage black people… he always used to “punch up” at white society for being racist.
This is also such a dumb point because his jokes about trans people weren’t offensive, it’s the statements he made in between jokes which he uses to set the context. It’s like you don’t even know how Dave does his set…

You talking about the dude who got the breaks beat off of him? He was a MAGA supporter?
I thought he charged the stage because he was offended by his trans jokes?

That's not why he rushed the stage at all lmao. And that's exactly why his trans agenda is so dangerous cause people attached that to homeboy immediately and it became the narrative lol

I’m not implying you were wrong I’m genuinely curious.
I was just looking up stuff about him because I forgot all about that incident. I can’t find anything that says why he did that
What the hell did Kendrick Lamar do?
Auntie Diaries and having Kodak on the album lol
Auntie Diaries and having Kodak on the album lol
They’ve had a hard on for him since he protested against Spotify taking XXXtentacion off playlists
Auntie Diaries and having Kodak on the album lol
I thought people stopped caring about him using the F word a long time ago.
Same with Kodak being used.
throwing kendrick in the mix is racist. don't ask me to explain
bro just ran out of subjects and needed to reach his boss’s word count requirement

Saying he used Kodak sounds crazy
