The first special was fine but after that it went downhill when he called himself Team TERF and the friends and family of the Trans person he refrenced in the Closer, had problems with him and how he treated their friend.

I guess I took vindication as justified or being absolved because they're synonyms for each other but if that's not what you were getting at we're not talking about the same thing
I'm just reminding you that the hate speech they say isn't coming from think pieces on some guys opinion and in the small chance it is why they feel vindicated it's pretty shallow at best

Why are you making a broader point about hate speech when I’m literally just talking about “cancel culture”.
I think this article makes their point on the uselessness and mob mentality of cancel culture appear rational. This article hurts the accountability cause by looping all of these artists in together and complaining about how they fell from your graces.
I read the article and its a reactionary mess. It’s good with details but terribly unserious.

He’s a comedian. If you’re too sensitive to the topic then just don’t support it, watch it, or engage with it. Good comedians joke about topics that make us uncomfortable. It is finding humor in the absurdities of life.
