There's no way the fire can get deep into the city though right? More than likely the winds will relax at some point/there won't be enough consumable fuel for it to keep going at the current pace?
We're in a ring of fire right now where there's very little left nearby that can burn quickly. So much has already burned.
The problem is spot fires that come from wind blown embers. That can happen anywhere, including my neighborhood, and it's why I'm getting ready.
The next 24 hours will be tense.
