Nah its not just nostalgia because there was a lot more ideas tried from various budget levels . S*** even on Xbox the first one to have something like splinter cell chaos theory multiplayer online was unique. As time has progressed a lot of people are trying to be call of duty or now battle royale or free to play and figuring out how many microtransactions they can shove into the game to keep making money from it.
