It absolutely is leagues ahead of the old games, as it should be of course. Again, the content within the game is debatable (MW3 and BO7 are decent offerings in this category) but the sheer gameplay aspect is undeniable

That much I can agree with. If modern CoD devs had actual talented map designers they would probably be appreciated more maps are everything in these games

Nah man, these new cods where it’s more about combining slides and jump and s*** like that with people having FOV sliders like they’re in a fishbowl are ass and the reason no casual is playing them.

BO1 feels pretty stiff but BO2 definitely doesn’t. Hit detection is 100x better from like 2019 onwards, that I can concede

And just because it’s faster doesn’t make it brainrot. It’s more about smooth movement and skill expression through the freedom of said movement than just speed. There’s a reason CoD started pivoting their focus to movement mechanics after Titanfall 2 popularized it. It’s just more fluid n fun

BO2 isn’t necessarily clunky. It still feels pretty decent for old CoD. BO3 and BO4 couldn’t quite nail down fluid movement but they finally nailed it with BO7. I’m happy that these games finally feel great mechanically. I wouldn’t want it any other way

Im starting to get used to it again. Had some good games. First day was rough as hell adjusting because black ops 6 (didnt buy 7) is so f***ing fast out the gate that I need to adjust to pace.

It is weird because I definitely felt it in BO1 but that much in BO2.
It suffers from the same deadzone problem as that Far Cry 3 PS4 port

Nah I agree it’s not brainrot I just prefer the older cods. Titanfall 2 is my fav fps besides maybe bad company 2 but I just feel the new cods don’t hit anywhere near the same as TF2.

Cod bo1 for me feels the exact same and I’ve been loving it idk. It’s obviously not as fluid feeling but I don’t think it feels like ass to play at all. It is still EASILY my favorite cod game to play search and destroy in.
