If I recall MrDalekJD said they were rebooting zombies because the team changed again. The guy who wrote the chaos storyline from IW Zombies was that guy but he left Treyarch.

That happened because Treyarch was forced mid cycle into making COD 2020 because Activision got rid of the third COD game that's usually made by sledgehammer studios. Because of this, development on BO4 was hampered. BO4 development team was a small skeleton crew. They were limited on resources because everyone was pulled to make COD2020. So maps and zombies in BO4 was affected by this.
MW2019 recycle maps because Infinity ward is being lazy and are horrible at making brand new maps. Hell their horrible and remaking old maps.

doesn't matter they're still trash and they're choice to double down on the future, when devs were going back to modern, and make bo3.5 was apparent to be a bad choice the moment the reveal trailer aired
What are you talking about man...... BO4 was modern. They didn't use futuristic tech in BO4. That's why returning BO3 Specialist had their R2+L2 altered to either being a gun or a flamethrower. BO4 had a lot of meddling from the publisher. Things that were out of Treyarch's hand. Because of the backlash BO4 got, Activision backed off MW2019. COD 2020 is a cold war game basically a BO1 remake like MW2019 was a COD4 remake.

Yeah it will. They got a nice core team now. BO2 just lost the original story writer and then they swapped it again in BO3 and then got the Infinite warfare zombie writer for BO4. But it's the core BO3 team again. BO4 was a mess because of Activision's meddling. Then they forced Treyarch to work on a game they wasn't expecting to work on mid 2019 before the second DLC.

Ah ok. Hopefully they bounce back then. Even though bo4 was disappointing they've been the most consistent devs within cod imo

Well we was talking about Zombies. BO3 Zombies is one of the best in the series. I can honestly say I literally played only 8 mins of BO3 multiplayer. I wasn't interested in that at all. Played Zombies only.
