Really not crazy about this. The map is decent but there’s so many trees in some spots that make it impossible to see and then there’s other huge areas that have 0 cover or buildings like near Peak. The guns are all pretty ass compared to MW and CW and the ground loot f***ing sucks

Got a solo win and followed it up with a quad win.

Been having a lot of fun with this tbh. I feel like so far, for me at least, it’s been a lot of mid range gun fights that last longer than I remember

maybe but i think you could still play pretty aggressive in verdansk with the way the map was set-up (exception of ATC and pre-lift towers)

on caldera it's just mad elevation differences obscured by a f***load of visual clutter and s***ty little places to hide. reminds me of season 1 fort where hiding in a bush was a legit way to win

could just be people sussing out the new map and it becomes a bit more natural

but solos the pace is horrific and it's so hard to get decent kill games with the way the POIs are set up

at least cash is easy to find so you can spam UAVs

Can easily see mfers in that game , can easily rush in that game without worrying about campers

After you die, takes way too long to join a new match or to even play again. Kind of ambivalent on gulag and all that s***.

I was trippin. Heard people talking about it bricking ps5 but I been playing with no issues

yeah im not a apex stan or anything but i think it has perfected the 'pace' of BRs; the blend of action and looting/downtime and playing how you want

verdansk was pretty good in this respect so it is annoying caldera is way worse

also as you say the overall matchmaking experience in warzone is so antiquated

you probably get an extra 6-7 mins per hour of actual gameplay in apex vs warzone (waiting in lobbies, gulag loading etc.)
