the miniled, 10 core and new body rumors sound fire but I'm buying whatever they announce if it's a 14+ inch MacBook

BRO our company did that at work, went from 2015 Airs to 2020 Pro's.
no fan noise, super speed. (Touchbar can get glitchy so use a magic keyboard + Laptop Stand)
I have the M1 Pro and the 2020 pro is still GOAT.
dw about budget as long as you got an M1 in it is all good.
M1 Air 16GB is flames but if you in 40 degree weather e.g. Singapore
then M1 Macbook Pro is fire with the extra fans.

M1 Mac Mini is a f***ing monster with Logic Pro
How is it
It’s better than I thought. Massive upgrade from my mid 2012 MBP. I love the damn keyboard. It feels almost as light as my iPad Pro. It just feels comfortable. I can’t believe it’s real.
Finally upgraded my 2012 macbook pro that i've used since it came out.
Ended up buy the first gen M1 macbook pro with the touchbar, and literally a week later they announced the 2nd gen pros with magsafe and classic function keys back, and no touchbar 😔🔫
Other than the abysmal touchbar that is just the huge nuisance i've always heard people call it, the notebook is great. Huge step up. Love the keyboard. Start up time still blows my mind. Crazy how f***ing fast i can go from a cold startup to my desktop on this thing. Also love how light and thin it is, but i'd trade that in a heartbeat for the better features of the older macbooks.
My gripes are pretty much only with external features:
• touchbar (HOW DID THIS S*** LAST FOR SO LONG ON MACBOOKS IT IS ABSURD)
• i really miss my battery life indicator button
• the f***ing AUDACITY of releasing any product with "pro" in the title, especially a computer, and only putting TWO ports on it. Not only that, but they're the same f***ing port. (Not
counting the aux port which im stunned they included). Now i got 3 different dongles to support everyday media cables i already own.. Cant even connect to ethernet without a peripheral. Absolute galaxy brain form over function thinking, even for apple.
"Yeah, im a PRO user. I only need two usb 4 ports, and my bag of connector cables of course. I'm maxing this bad boy out right now with my charging cable and usb4 to hdmi. What's that? You want to hook up ethernet and and external drive too? Don't worry, i got a nice rectangle in my bag that has 6 different ports on it, And the 1.5 inch long toothpick usb-c cable that holds it all together is surely built to last. Casual users so jealous."
