Its almost a conspiracy but I think theres a good chance these policy decisions are forced by corporate donors, who want certain parties in power at certain times for their own gain and threaten to withdraw funding if these politicians dont do what they want, which they know will likely lead to the outcome they want.
Thats the only way i can rationalize it. The usa has some of the ,smartest people on earth, there’s no way it’s as simple as like oh whoopsie i couldnt predict this. When my ass could see it a mile away.I don’t even know, but I could believe what you are saying.
It’s really depressing, how we have so many smart and talented people in this country, and almost all of them just rail for what’s best for them, at the expense of everyone else.
Like, elon don’t even need those tax breaks. He’s almost a trillionare. But he wants them anyway, and because of that, he may have tipped the scales for one of the least qualified potential presidents ever.
Not that Elon is particularly smart or talented, but that is my example
