the thing is you have to view north koreans as actual people with legitimate motivations, not as a racist stereotype of brainwashed asian automotons. the government and the culture of the society is an extension of the Korean people's desire for socialism and decolonization and therefore does not resemble the one you live in. there's not a desire for the sort of "freedom" you get in capitalist society where housing, healthcare, and social labor are left to the anarchy of the market.

you really believe they don't wanna be free to dislike their leader?

ahem sips a glass of water

Yet again, it was another late, sleepless night in Atlanta. The studio was packed, yet intimate all at the same time. Warm amber lights washed over exotic leather furniture, creating a dimly lit sonic oasis. A sweet aroma of weed smoke clouded the air, while vanilla scented candles were strategically placed around the room…

"In the 1970s, Kim Il Sung, known as the "Great Leader," arranged for his son to take credit for a "70-day battle" before he was tapped as his father's successor, Cheong said. Kim Jong Il the "Dear Leader" formally assumed leadership upon his father's death in 1994.
Kim Duk-hong, a high-profile defector from North Korea who witnessed the "70-day battle," said such campaigns are designed to strengthen the leader's totalitarian rule and lay the groundwork for a transfer of power."

No Dem primary since 08 if we being real. Dem leadership always wanted to go with Hilary from the jump in 2016, and an established Dem was always gonna be the pic in 2020.

Aint out of ass you can prolly boot up a sattelite map engine as you speak and search nk land you'll find those death camps but keep believing your side of the story 'Un a great guy

I mean you dont seem to be interested in learning so if you say racist s*** about koreans at this point I'm just gonna call it like I see it

I really gave you a shot too. think about it this way: there are thousands of americans who think Kim-jong Un is an evil satan man who eats babies and their are countless palestinians who see the DPRK as a model of social welfare, self-reliance, and popular democracy (the former side is still in a war with korea btw). now do you really believe this is really due to palestinians just not having your special knowledge? think about it.
