The Ukrainians that I’ve met were similar to the russians, I actually worked in a low income housing place last year dealing with them. Really nice older ladies but they are very skeptical of people. Some were obviously racist (not just bc i said so but so did the managers)

It’s not even NATO vs Russia because Ukraine is not in NATO. Europe is concerned because Ukraine borders NATO and acted as a buffer but Russia is closing that gap. Ukraine played nice with Russia even giving away their nukes just to turn around and get invaded years later.
