this is like saying that cubans in the US are probably communist because cuba is a communist country
there is often a direct political reason people (refugees excluded of course) are in the US are not still in their home countries

I really think it’s a combination of many things, so we can’t say definitely it’s this or that. My dad is an immigrant, small business owner who doesn’t like LGBT and didn’t vote republican lol

I'm more just saying that it shouldn't really be ignored that most ethnicities in the US are going to have distinctions from their non-immigrant counterparts since them being in the US to begin with is a factor in determining what beliefs they likely have
