    New Mexico

    ballotpedia.org/Voter_ID_in_New_Mexico

New Mexico does not require voters to present identification while voting, in most cases. However, if an individual registered to vote for the first time by mail and did not provide verification of his or her identity then, the voter will have to show identification.2

Those voters can present the following forms of identification:

    Current and valid photo identification
Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, student identification card, or other government document, including identification issued by an Indian nation, tribe, or pueblo that shows the voter’s name and current address

    snopes.com/news/2024/11/08/harris-voter-id-2024

Of those 15 states and the District of Columbia, as of Nov. 8, AP projected Harris to win California, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Vermont and Washington. Further, the news organization projected Trump won Pennsylvania — a battleground state only requiring first-time voters to present a photo or non-photo ID.

relax nigga and quit reposting far right propaganda

I am not saying it was the only reason she won those states you are missing the larger point I am getting at.

You do realize this is propaganda to implement voter ID in usually democratic states which on paper sounds great but leaves much more room for fudging numbers especially if the keys to those voting machines/digital voter IDs is Elon Musk

Never take anything at face value especially in a time like this

Becuase most voting fraud isn’t committed by not having an ID

A significant more percentage of black people among other minorities will just not have a license due to other factors

If you make having a license mandatory, then you have to ensure departments like the DMV work efficient and are staffed properly in enough areas to reach large demographcs of voters

And guess what departments are notorious for being inefficient and understaffed… the DMV. This is even more true in impoverished areas, rural areas, heck even from city management (often in red states) purposely enacting austerity measures and cutting social programs like this

Combine this with the effort it takes to actually get a license, meaning you have to have a car, take off work (if allowed), among other things

All these things add up, and what you get a system that is structurally designed to make it harder for marginalized groups to vote.

That tweet is just MAGA propaganda.

  • It’s crazy how Trump won on a campaign based off of Anti-intellectualism. Education damn near might be American #1 problem

I feel like this isn’t talked about a lot but are we just stuck in a perpetual pendulum where things hard swing right and left without actual progress due to how divisive modern politics are? Every major issue just gets split into a black/white extreme and people are becoming more and more charged about their stances. Scary times. Would like to see a candidate that could unify to a degree we haven’t seen in over a decade at least

This is a cool video that talks about it, potential solutions and about studies that show why once people decide on a certain political position it can influence them to wrongly interpret data.

I mean if you allow people to meditate , listen to music or do anything for their own mental health during this time with silence amongst the room thats not pledging the flag this is long term goodd but this is too much of a good faith read.

I consider moving that way crodie

they essentially tell most of the country your vote doesnt matter even with the loser per state with electoral college but then again with third party which is separate than the rather blatant agendda that both parties agree on
