Here’s my thing and let me be realistic. I think Trump is going to win. I’m emotionally preparing for it.

However, I want to wake up after Election Day and be proven wrong. I will vote for Harris, Trump is too old and is just too much like a bratty schoolgirl throwing a tantrum nowadays especially after getting shot. I wanted to give him a second chance but he’s just not doing it right

But the pull this guy has on everyone, including people here like me is indescribable.

I can’t escape him mentally. He has me by the throat mentally. He got what he wanted, the ultimate overdose of fame.

Never underestimate your opponent.

Thats why Hillary lost in 2016. That comey letter dealt the final blow to her campaign.

People make the mistake of thinking “just four more years” or the Democrats will be magically pushed left once the Republicans are beat

Like you are doing in your post, it is a false reality

They aren’t your friends, you push them left by applying pressure through the leverage of working class power organized collectively

You did mention community organizing but unless you are already involved in organizing just kind of saying it “we”lol organize next year for real” is the same exact excuse liberals, even “leftists” make who either excuse or don’t have the theoretical understanding of why the Democrats won’t just magically push left without any leverage from the working class

The people that are putting in the work are doing it right now, some of them may be voting for Kamala some aren’t. Maybe this doesn’t apply to you, but if you aren’t doing any type of community involvement to engage or educate in some way, listening to those who don’t and won’t actually hit the streets to organize now or even post November is tiring and defeating and also just outright incorrect from how Democrats actually get pushed left

Jon Stewart’s episode about last night/the dnc as a whole was good. Called out the emphasis on militarism and lethal army! and how it clashes with the ‘hope💙joy’ optics, called out the amount of Republican/pro Iraq war speakers, pointed out the discrimination of not having a Palestinian American speak for 2 minutes during 8 hours of speeches, called out that making points about predators don’t work when you have bill Clinton speak right after it.

Feel like there was parts that had him at odds with the audience too. They would accidentally cheer at a clip that he would play with the purpose of setting up a joke/critique. Interesting segment
