These picks absolutely seem to be a loyalty test for (GOP) Congress, and if they get through (which they will) he’ll know he has carte blanche.

Feel like the only reassurance that we have rn is that pretty much everyone in this admin is incredibly incompetent, and these egomaniacal types can’t stand being perceived as incompetent, especially due to others actions.

So maybe they’ll be some sense of self-preservation, which would then be perceived as disloyalty, and thus they would be excised and someone even more incompetent would take their place the cycle goes on and on.

Like last time, which was a mess, and last time they actually had some competent people that helped to keep things together at least somewhat.
