America is built on the principles of private ownership and has always defended private ownership over democracy. The revolutionary war was spurred on by private landowners who used “taxation without representation” as an argument against their economic power not having sway in British politics, not some democratic vote

The electoral process was literally created to prevent mass opinion overruling private landowners. Even the Civil War and WW2 were practically fought over the preservation of stable capitalist enterprise, despite the propaganda and ideologies espoused for such conflicts. We supported nazis, genocidaires, al Qaeda, Saddam Hussein, and even infighting communists for the sake of collapsing independent nations and introducing American private interests

Why do you think we love democracy when it’s an “enemy nation oppressing their people” and not “friendly governments”? How come we love international law until it comes to keeping Nestle from poisoning water supplies and they can’t privatize, or keeping weapons manufacturers from arming Ukrainian and Israeli nazis?

Priorities lay in private enterprise, and the golden end goal of private enterprise is dominance. Not only against competitors in industry, but over the workers who provide value. The logical conclusion of that is slavery.

At the end of the day, we complain all day about americas hypocrisy against its mission of democracy and liberty. But what about the things that ARENT hypocrisies?
