This country needs a leader who will make raising our intelligence the #1 priority cause every other issue comes from the fact that the populace is rẽtarded
intelligence isn't a real thing, liberal
tap in kings. and queens. they say it better than i could. however this isn’t coming from a marxist perspective so it’ll be disappointing for some of you on that basis but of course capitalism and modern society makes the issues worse.
This interview/discussion highlights issues regarding boys poor performance in school as compared to girls and then society change and men stagnating in multiple ways while women (rightfully so) made a lot of gains in a lot of areas etc but like i said they talk about it way better than i can

ok you didnt say libs but the person that started this convo said "no politician has addressed the issues of young American men" and you dove right in. everything else I said was direct quote.
someone being sympathetic in addressing certain phenomena doesn't inherently imply the government needs to step in and fix it - it just means that awareness of representation is particularly powerful in common discourse. Wider societal discourse does actually have an effect on social society.
Of course no one is going to be a magical source of suddenly fixing what is primarily a social and multi-generational issue, no less such a divisive one given its differential existence amongst overlapping issues facing all wider demographics.
However, you can't tell me with a straight face that fair acknowledgement of a phenomenon which is being hijacked otherwise by bad actors only deserves similar hostility when looking for alternative solutions.
I'm sorry but "just get a gf", "just suck it up", "just deal with it", "just change who you are as a person and what your male family tells to be, it's easy" aren't valid and play into the exact same very literal toxic masculinity that men are suffering from their generational fore-bearers mocking them for to begin with

Trump shot himself in the foot by having that guy say that puerto rico s*** lmfao dumb f***s
Yes but it’s too early to say if it cost him the presidency
Yeah the issue is those things are largely just capitalism or things you can't appeal to without being sexist lol. What are ppl gonna say, "were going back to men being the providers!"
Also the whole thing about men having less kids, that's weird framing since that by definition cannot be an issue for men. But again, people are having less kids because of the terrible economic outlook. And because dems cannot outline a future that provides the necessary remedies to these economic issues, of course the right wing crowd can come through and blame it on feminism and Trans panic and DEI lol and I guarantee dems are well aware of this. But it does not matter to them because well, why would it
i don't fully understand this argument because there's very literal issues which parallel that of women. It's not sexist to provide women safety nets their mothers didn't have. Do you know how many households - particularly minority ones statistically - grew up without abortion access and now that their daughters have it, there is incredible tension between mother-daughter? The same can be said of mothers who want to force their daughters to be mothers because they believe it's the be-all-end-all.
That same thing happens with men. There are lots of fathers - white and minority alike, it's not a racialized issue - who do not understand changing norms in society and treat their sons as if it is still the 60s. Yes, we still live in an unfair society that has a lot of men-driven patriarchal problems (porn, for example) - however, on a social level while women have social safety nets often built into common discourse, this isn't really true for men. Look at how men get clowned for openly talking about being molested and tell me there isn't an issue with social understanding of male roles (which yes, men play into, that's the point)
I legitimately would listen but this s*** is 2 hours bro.
can just listen to part of it like 30min or so to get a preview. you’ll get some good stuff in the first 20min
it’s worth it.
And not just talking about white men and boys like they’re trying to frame it ITT
the conversation speaks on intersectionality and how it affects different subgroups when u look at economic class race etc in school and so on
the problem at the core is that we as a society have increasingly agreed as a commonality to move away from patriarchal norms but the ideas and social concepts introduced by said norms still exist blatantly on a casual level. This doesn't mean some dumb s*** like "men are left behind because they can't keep women hostage economically". It just means that social discourse surrounding men hasn't caught up to different societal morals and trends. Of course, this hasn't for women either - no one is doubting that. But it's not a zero sum game.
remember when krishna had a psychological meltdown over jokes about white people, I sure do
