The border is not an issue, republicans are incredibly gullible.

It’s a tough choice.

• Kamala is closest with Cooper, but he’s older and they will likely focus on age this campaign
• Shapiro helps in PA but he is also the least experienced guy here.
• Beshear is the safe pick, but has no major upside.

Cooper could help swing NC and actually maybe help Josh Stein with the governorship here with down ballot voting

But at the same time I don’t want to be subject to Mark Robinson as governor while Cooper is on the campaign trail

Also with the age thing being a factor I would prefer a Harris/Shapiro ticket out of any of them. Beshar would be good too
