my biggest complaint with the record is whatever this weird effect is on ALL the vocals. makes them sound fuzzy as opposed to sharp. could just be a personal preference tho

this busta feature sounds sorta out of place on this instrumental imo

Vol. 1 somehow felt like every single musician involved was in the studio for every recording session for the album and created a wonderful chemistry on every single song

Vol. 2 sounds like Calvin made an album’s worth of instrumentals, sent each one via file to a multitude of artists, then chose which artist’s parts he liked best on each instrumental and that’s how we got these seemingly random artist pairings lacking any synergy whatsoever
