i’ll admit when i’m wrong

i still have a lot of legitimate gripes with the solo and geese but i can at least understand the hype now. it pulls from a lot of great places to make a really unique modern sound

i’m reluctant to say flawed just not wskewed to my tastes. it’s funny bc i really like richman and the modern lovers but i just find winters voice grating. their live album exposed to me that they do cool noise stuff i just think the sound they were going for in songs like trinidad would have been handled better by a traditional rock engineer / producer. kenny beats on a song like trinidad just sucks, still sucks, will always suck to me and wish it wasn’t a thing
