So it's his fault that her team was too dumb to realize who they were booking? They only got him on the show because that podcast clip with Mase sort of went viral. Also, I work in TV news, and unless someone gets outright embarrassed or somebody does something highly offensive, this kind of "off the rails" clip is sought after — your show gets attention, while you avoid any of the backlash.

I get what you mean, but like… if I’m a news anchor and doing a story on s***trafficking then I invite 50 Cent of all people as a guest to speak and proceed to act shocked when he says some insensitive trolling s***?… at some point you should’ve had awareness and realization that this wasn’t even an adequate speaker for the serious discussion you intended to have.

The man barely answered any of the questions, this is CNN, they want answers. Their not looking for a publicity stunt, im sure, on Cameron's part, this was a publicity stunt. Only reason he was probably picked cause he was the only one that'd do it, cause industry dudes are probably scared to discuss Diddy.

Literally nothing in this clip that you are getting upset about had to do with industry politics, and the way you are describing him as being "picked" and "the only that'd do it" has me confused — nobody is obligated to do an interview on CNN/anywhere, and the reason Cam'ron did it is because, y'know, easy publicity.

If you don’t have a good interview lined up that doesn’t mean to resort to a s*** one. But like I said yea he could’ve handled it better, however if I’m a news reporter who cares about my reputation and conducting a top notch interview I’m not getting someone who’s trolled interviewers multiple times and turned moments into s*** shows
