why call the cops when we can wail on him
He's lame for embarrassing that black lady reporter like that, this was probably her project to work/report on and he embarrassed her. What a f***ing s***head
I mean it’s def the network’s fault for even inviting him to speak cause anyone should be aware he’s one of the least mature famous people to speak on serious matters
They were able to research what Mase said to him about signing with Biggie but not also see his several interviews trolling news reporters

Nah, he's a s***head for going on there, acting like that.

So it's his fault that her team was too dumb to realize who they were booking? They only got him on the show because that podcast clip with Mase sort of went viral. Also, I work in TV news, and unless someone gets outright embarrassed or somebody does something highly offensive, this kind of "off the rails" clip is sought after — your show gets attention, while you avoid any of the backlash.

I get what you mean, but like… if I’m a news anchor and doing a story on s***trafficking then I invite 50 Cent of all people as a guest to speak and proceed to act shocked when he says some insensitive trolling s***?… at some point you should’ve had awareness and realization that this wasn’t even an adequate speaker for the serious discussion you intended to have.

The man barely answered any of the questions, this is CNN, they want answers. Their not looking for a publicity stunt, im sure, on Cameron's part, this was a publicity stunt. Only reason he was probably picked cause he was the only one that'd do it, cause industry dudes are probably scared to discuss Diddy.
It's not this lady's fault that she doesn't know these shady ass industry politics.

Nope, it wasn't, but I'm sure she wanted to make her a report a success. I feel like he was the only rapper that would talk, and he came just to troll.

If he was the only rapper then that should’ve been the cue that perhaps they didn’t even bother with getting a rapper.
If you don’t have a good interview lined up that doesn’t mean to resort to a s*** one. But like I said yea he could’ve handled it better, however if I’m a news reporter who cares about my reputation and conducting a top notch interview I’m not getting someone who’s trolled interviewers multiple times and turned moments into s*** shows

Literally nothing in this clip that you are getting upset about had to do with industry politics, and the way you are describing him as being "picked" and "the only that'd do it" has me confused — nobody is obligated to do an interview on CNN/anywhere, and the reason Cam'ron did it is because, y'know, easy publicity.

No matter where you go with this convo, Cam's still a s***head, he wasn't the best choice for sure(which makes him seem like the only choice they had)but he should be held accountable for disrespecting that interviewer like that.
He was a guest on that show, he knew why he was there, but went into business for his self.

They shoulda got Mase, period lol.

Can't argue with this one too much, people know Cam's rep lol. This is a prime time story either way, and this lady wanted the scoop. He knew 100% the reasoning for being there, and flipped the script. It's not cool what he did though, no matter how you spin it.

While I disagree with your interpretation of what happened here, I definitely hear where you're coming from with that last line. I just think this was a harmless interview that makes Cam'ron come off way worse than her lol

LOL, he would've possibly s***ted on Diddy, whilst avoiding the direct questions.

Agree to disagree I guess, whether you think it's funny or not, Cam promoting himself wasn't the best look at that moment.

If Mase declined, he prolly saw the angle. "That was your mans, your boy, you ain't know?"

F*** that black lady. She an opp. I've seen her Israeli coverage.
